Power Quality Standards
10:45 am-12:45 pm
Standards such as IEC 61000-4-30 are being developed to define power quality parameters and measurement so that two different power quality meters provide comparable data on the same event. The three papers presented in this session will discuss IEC 61000-4-30, some of the issues it addresses and its impact on the manufacturers of power quality instrumentation. Practical experience with the application of this standard will also be discussed.
Paper Presentations
Practical Experience With a Really Difficult Standard: IEC 61000-4-30 Power Quality Measurement
The Importance of IEC 61000-4-30 Class A for the Coordination of Power Quality Levels
New Developments in Power Quality Immunity and Safety Standards, Hands-on Applications in North America, Asia and Europe
