Sunday, October 23 PAC 15 Understanding Power Quality Measurements 9:00 am-1:00 pm Power quality monitors are now a commonplace in facilities today. However, understanding the different trends, graphs, waveshapes, disturbances, and harmonics is often left to the user. These devices are of no value unless the data can be interpreted into information that can be used to solve a problem. This course, taught from examples, case histories, and basic principles is intended for consultants, electricians, technicians, facility managers, and maintenance engineers interested in getting more knowledge on how to interpret power quality measurements. The attendees are invited to bring their own examples of measurements on transparencies or on computer media for examination and discussion. The course includes example case histories with group discussion on what the graphs may mean and what solution methods might be necessary.
Please note: Due to Convention Center Space availability, we will be holding the Sunday, October 23, 2005 Professional Advancement Courses (PAC) at the Wyndham Inner Harbor Hotel. |
